When The Barn Company decided to rebrand in 2012 to better reflected their core product, they turned to us, and Coresteel was born.
As well as development of the name and brand style, we guided Coresteel and its franchisees through the brand transformation from The Barn Company, ensuring a smooth transition for both customers and suppliers. Elements of the old brand were deliberately retained to capitalise on existing brand equity.
While under The Barn Company brand, we developed a memorable campaign around the National Fieldays with the help of Marc Ellis.
The ‘barn warming’ campaign was about celebrating Kiwis in their barns, enjoying the space and all that it had to offer. The campaign involved a promotional ‘barn warming’ video, a strong presence at the National Fieldays, and outstanding support from Marc Ellis, who ran an exciting barn auction at the Fieldays, as well as hosting the winning ‘barn warming.’
We’ve worked with Coresteel to develop a wide range of marketing collateral, including rural mail drops, product brochureware and print advertising.
With 22 franchises, The Barn Company understood the importance of growing equity in their brand through quality and consistency across the country. We’ve provided franchises with all the tools they needed from stationery and product brochureware through to signage and local advertising campaigns.
Online enquiry is a key sales driver for Coresteel, meaning the company’s web presence needed to be professional, informative, and engaging.
We developed a website that showcases all the key attributes of the Coresteel building system, including relevant content specific to Coresteel’s key markets: industry, commercial and rural. The site also includes a building search, so those investigating building options can see examples of previous builds.View website
We have worked to capture the uniqueness of Coresteel builds, emphasising that buildings of virtually any size are possible with Coresteel technology.
Coresteel products are unique to any other in the steel building industry, with an exclusive, patented Bracketless Portal System. This allows for a vast interior space with no interfering centre poles or braces, ideal for retail spaces or for moving about large industrial sized vehicles and machinery with ease.
One of the strengths of Coresteel is their ability to put up a great steel building, fast, and the best way to showcase this is with timelapse.
We’ve captured a range of Coresteel builds using timelapse to showcase the speed in which buildings are erected. It’s also a great conversation starter with future customers, allowing them to see for themselves Coresteel’s exclusive Bracketless Portal System in action.
Coresteel has a wide market across rural, commercial and industrial industries, and we’ve worked with them to communication across all markets.
Whether it be building or architectural magazines, rural mail drops or trade stands at the National Mystery Creek Fieldays, we’ve helped Coresteel to formulate its key messages to a range of markets and audiences to highlight the unique aspects of the Coresteel product.
