Tristan TuckeyCreative Director email@example.com
Tristan produces outstanding ideas at the drop of a hat, and coupled with his ability to easily distill a strategic vision and objectives and marry them effortlessly with tangible creative solutions, he is the ideal creative director.
Including his ten years as co-founder (now sole owner) and creative director of Big Fish Creative, Tristan is a design graduate who has been immersed in the creative industry for over 20 years, having worked in New Zealand, Australia and the UK developing and leading a range of high profile marketing initiatives.
He has an undeniable environmental and artistic bent, being involved in a myriad of both creative and conservation projects in his not so spare time.
Barac UnderwoodArt Director firstname.lastname@example.org
Barac is the funky fish in the tank – keeping us up-to-date with the latest trends, products and happenings.
He’s also a brilliant graphic designer, videographer and Art Director, with a natural finesse for timelapse photography and editing.
Barac is delightfully honest and has an incredible eye for detail, which has been well refined in his 7 years with Big Fish.
Trent MorganWeb Manager email@example.com
An incredibly talented artist and all-round super nice guy, Trent was lured into the Big Fish tank for his coding skills as a front end website developer. Combined with his design expertise, eye for detail and natural affinity for understanding the needs of the ‘end user’, Trent knows how to take a good website and make it exceptional.
Outside of work, Trent is a recognised local artist of outstanding public and private art projects. He’s also shall we say ‘not shy’ to contribute to community projects
Mandy BryersSenior Designer firstname.lastname@example.org
Mandy has worked with and developed many leading brands, and we’re thrilled to have someone of her creative calibre in the Big Fish tank. Along with a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design from Natcoll, Mandy brings a wealth of agency experience in branding, web and print design, advertising, packaging, retouching, typography and illustration to Big Fish Creative.
Mandy and her dog Oscar have made the big move north from the Waikato, where she previously worked for successful agency King St Advertising.
Helen HorrocksOnline Marketing email@example.com
Helen is a master of the mysterious dark arts of SEO, Google AdWords, social media, web copywriting and content marketing – skills that make her a welcome addition to the Big Fish team, and the perfect person to manage our Digital Marketing packages.
Originally from Scotland, Helen has adopted Northland as her home, and the Northland lifestyle as her own. A fanatical fisherwoman, sailor and diver, she spends as much time as she can in, on or around the water. And when she dries off, you’ll usually find her ‘on the farm’ – wrangling sheep, chasing chooks or popping off the possums that raid the orchard.
Cheryl JensenMedia & Marketing firstname.lastname@example.org
Cheryl is putting her extensive knowledge of the media and tourism industries to good use at Big Fish Creative, driving projects including the Northland and Whangarei visitor guides, and introducing the Northland tourism sector to the talent and innovative thinking in the Big Fish tank.
Cheryl’s career started in London’s competitive advertising agency world. After much travelling she fell in love with Godzone, where her career in advertising continued as media manager with two high profile Auckland agencies.
The Jensen’s created and operated an adventure tourism business from a 150 acre property in the Bay of Islands. Cheryl then spent 7 years with Northland’s regional tourism organisation promoting the region to domestic and international visitors before joining Big Fish.
Narrelle DobbsStudio Manager email@example.com
Organiser extraordinaire Narrelle keeps the ‘creatives’ in the Big Fish studio in line. With the facilitation, organisation and sales experience she gained at Calders Design & Print, she now ensures a smooth workflow and exceptional standards are delivered to every Big Fish client.
With baby Will, dog Leroy Brown and cat Savvy to take care of, Narrelle usually has her hands full, but she still finds time to do a bit of sewing when she can. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty either, and has been known to give tiling and plastering a go while renovating her home. And like every good Northland girl, she loves getting together with friends and family, especially when there’s good food involved.
Daniel BeazleyWeb Developer / Server Administrator firstname.lastname@example.org
Daniel is a welcome addition to the Big Fish tank, offering invaluable support for the web team and innovative solutions for a range of technical challenges. Daniel takes to technology like a duck to water. His considerable experience in the IT field belies his age and allows him to provide robust and clever solutions for our clients. Whether it’s blazing back end code for a website, whipping up a web application or rebuilding our server, it’s all done with ease and a cheeky grin.
Daniel cut his teeth running his own web server, which accumulated tens of thousands of users. As a natural technology tinkerer he spends his spare time flying quad copters, setting up light shows, attending dance parties and working on his various innovative creations.
Briar van AmeringenDesigner email@example.com
Briar joined the Big Fish team in 2013 and brings exceptional design, illustration and web skills to the tank.
She particularly enjoys being part of the whole creative process, seeing projects come together as a result of a great team effort. She has extensive experience with communicating and marketing via digital, print and new media, specialising in the design of user interface for websites.
Briar has lived in Whangarei previously, and is loving being back, closer to family, friends and the relaxed lifestyle of Northland.
